Being the father of 8 girls, planning a wedding is old hat for me now. I have 2 left to marry and am planning for one of them now. Two receptions have been at Michael's and have been the best of all the ones we have had so far. My only complaint is that they have a sign out front that says reserved for bride's parents. I have yet to be able to park there! Also, because they usually have more than one reception going on at a time, if you have a late reception like we usually do, all parking lots are full and the entire wedding party usually ends up parking down the street. They really should rope off their parking lot so that some of each party can park on the lot and some of each party will have to park down the street.

I have had the opportunity to host several large events before, including my own wedding and a luncheon for the Maryland State Police Volunteer Program, which involved other dini8ng facilities.   While admittedly I was quite pleased with these other choices, my experience with Michael’s Eighth Avenue has by far surpassed these other locations.   As such, I can assure you I will consider your services  in any future events I may be involved with.

On behalf of Frederick Douglass High School and the class of 2005, I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for a job well done by you and Michael’s of Eighth Avenue.   The senior prom last Thursday has been the talk of the city for the last few days.

The support staff during the event was second to none.   While I am not good with names, however the lead waitress did a phenomenal job.   Her and the staff showed true signs of excellent customer service and elegance.   Every need that we had was fulfilled with professionalism and eager attention.   The prom was truly a night to remember for the senior class.
